Our Mission: To provide restorative, natural health in an attentive setting that ensures our patients and community reach a greater level of vitality.
Naturopathic medicine is the cornerstone of wellness. The six principles of naturopathic medicine inform our diagnoses and treatment recommendations. These principles are demonstrated in our clinic as follows:
We focus on selecting treatment options that use the minimum force necessary to treat the condition and avoid the suppression of symptoms as much as possible.
Our bodies have an innate ability to self-heal. The human body desires to live in balance and a state of ease. When conditions or symptoms push our bodies out of this balance, we are left in a state of dis-ease, which our bodies will instinctively seek to rectify.
Illness, especially chronic illness, is often a complex web of conditions. We use the analogy of an onion to illustrate how each symptom is a layer around the root cause. It takes an educated and skilled provider to synthesize the body’s messages and unravel these layers to reveal the next steps toward health.
Our providers prioritize helping patients understand their conditions instead of simply labelling them with a long list of complicated diagnoses. We believe that helping our patients know their ailments is an important step toward healing.
We believe that illness is multi-factorial, and we cannot reach long-lasting health without taking into consideration an entire individual. Physiological, psychological, social, and mental habits and health affect the body and are considered in our treatment discussions.
The most successful form of dis-ease treatment is to prevent it in the first place. Though we see patients through all stages of their health journey, we also partner with patients who are already in a place of balance and seek to prevent future disease.
