Anna is an experienced acupuncturist who spent 12 years in Beijing, China,
mastering Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Qigong and Mandarin while
also teaching and mentoring others. Her focus is on musculoskeletal pain,
headaches, Bell’s palsy, digestive issues, women’s health, anxiety,
depression, insomnia and stress.
Anna’s journey to Traditional Chinese Medicine began when she started
practicing Qigong at the age of 15. She discovered that the human body has
energy channels and acupoints and that simulating those points can help
with different conditions, aches and pains.
She decided to follow her Qigong Master Xu Mingtang and moved to China. She
attended Qigong retreats at a Shaolin Monastery every summer for 12 years
practicing Qigong 8 hours a day. Anna completed undergraduate and
postgraduate study taught in Mandarin at the Beijing University of Chinese
Medicine, interned in 7 different hospitals in Beijing and graduated with a
Master Degree in 2013. She received a scholarship from the Chinese
Government to fund her postgraduate studies.
Anna translated and taught seminars on Qigong, Acupuncture and TCM to
international students, spoke at conferences in Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia,
Latvia and China.
She was elected by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies
(WFCMS) as the council member of the Specialty Committee of Research on
Protection of Traditional Knowledge.
Anna moved to Seattle soon after graduation, got board certified with the
NCCAOM, became a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist in Washington
State and practiced in several clinics around Seattle.
Anna enjoys helping her patients to achieve their goals and improving the
quality of their life. She creates treatment plans specifically according
to each patient’s needs and provides personalized care for her patients.
